ZIL is a well-established Oil Field Service Company and a major competitor in the supply and operation of vessels, Barges and Pusher Tugs, etc.
Activities of this department include the hire/lease of crew boats, inland cargo boats, barges and tugs, repairs and maintenance of this equipment.
There is a standard accommodation unit equipped with bunks and toilet facility to house people, fully air-conditioned with well-equipped galley.

Zukus Ejima is a heavy duty Spud Barge that is used for swamp operations.

The safety department is responsible for ensuring safe work procedures and practices are maintained. Zukus Industries Limited operates the,  Health, Safety, Environment and security (HSES) policy. This policy is briefly described below.

SAFETY: - To preserve safety by fully integrating the Enhanced Safety Management (ESM) principles and our HSES policy. To put in place necessary standards and safe work procedures enforced by highly qualified, skilled and experienced staff.

HEALTH: - To preserve the health of all staff by imbibing preventive Medicare. A corporate policy on drugs, alcohol and smoking is in force and the services of our clinics attend to the health needs of Zukus staff and their families at Zukus headquarters in Warri.

ENVIRONMENT: - Zukus is committed to the preservation of the environment, and as such has in place a waste management system, waste re-utilisation and minimisation and elimination program.

SECURITY: - Zukus Industries Limited considers the securities of its personnel, staff houses, barges and work locations as top priority. This is ensured by the use of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), private security organisations; community supplied civil guards, or a combination of the
above.
A team of safety officers, including an industrial nurse and environmental hygienists performs the “HSES” function. A professional Safety  Coordinator heads the team.

MR. CHINYE I. UZOR - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Chinye graduated from Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Warri where he obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) degree in Welding Engineering.
He joined ZUKUS in 1980 and has served the company as Operations Supervisor (1980 - 1981), Operations Manager (1981 - 1984) before his appointment as the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the company in 1984. Chinye attended the following Courses: Senior Management Course conducted by the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Supervisory Management Course, Basic Fire Fighting Course, Industrial First Aid Course, Survival Skill in Swimming and Defensive Driving Course (DDC).
Under the tutelage of Mr C.I. Uzor Zukus have grown to a company known for providing wireline services, multiphase flow metering for production
optimisation, Well head maintenance services, Hot Oil/pumping services, Maintenance of all Agar Probe in Focardos Terminal and Procurement of
Technical tool in the oil industries. Because of his contacts locally and Internationally,
